The outside exhaust vent cover fits onto the exhaust pipe for your central vacuum system when it is vented outside. It is designed to keep rodents, birds etc and rain from entering your home when your central vacuum  is outside.

When it is exhausted outside it removes all the vacuumed air from you home.
