Central Vacuum Motor making lots of noise!

Central Vacuum Motors can be replaced generally last a lot longer than a portable or stick vacuum.

My central vacuum has started making lots of noise or a grinding noise in the garage.

The motor maybe coming to the end of it’s life or has burnt out. You don’t have to buy a new Central Vac power unit, in 99% of the central vacs we can replace the motor that is in the power unit. It will cost you about 1/3 of the price of a new power unit.

Kiwivac carries the largest selection of replacement motors in New Zealand.

If you suspect that the motor has gone in your central vacuum give us a call.

We will have either the same motor, or one that is very similar to your existing motor and save you $100’s.

We can replace motors in most brands of Central Vacuums, including but not limited to Kiwivac, AVT, Beam, Smart, Ovis, Tornado, Nilfisk CV, Eurovac, BVC, TUBO, Premier Clean, old Central Vac International, UltraVac, VacuMaid, SmartVac, CanaVac, LaserVac, Monarch, VacuumOne, Mistral, Electron, some Hills, Modern Day, Silent Master, Pullman, Sach, MaxVak, Cyclovac, Endura, Mistral, Valdeig, Volta, and other systems.

Some central vacuum motors don’t last that long. The shorter life motors have faster spinning motors (which do more revolutions per minute). Where possible we use slower spinning, more reliable, longer lasting motors.

Contact us if you you would like to know if we can replace the motor in your central vac system. Or if you have any queries about your central vac.
