These square door opening central vacuum inlets have two finger holes to open the lid. They are attached to the backing plate in the wall and have two metal terminals points inside the wall inlet hole.
They are slightly smaller than other wall inlets/ outlets. But the hole your hose goes into is the same as other inlets.
